Al Merrick x Carver Surfskates collaboration

Channel Islands is arguably one of the most influential surfboard brands in the world, and over the past 45 years, founder and master board designer Al Merrick has created some of the most classic models in surfboard history, and today his son Britt is carrying on the legacy.

Carver has been making surf skates paired with CI classics like the Black Beauty since 2015, and this year they are introducing two new models to the lineup, the Fishbeard and the Happy.

Each new shape builds on their latest progressive shapes and both are destined to become future classics.

Inspired by the clean, elongated lines of traditional single keys and flaps, the CI Mid combines this timeless feel with the clarity, sensitivity, and freedom afforded by modern features synonymous with Merrick's design principles.
